Two-factor authentication for GCKey
Please be advised that ACOA, along with most Government of Canada Departments, will enable two-factor authentication (2FA) for GCKey accounts on July 31, 2023.
The fist time you log into ACOA Direct after July 31st using GCKey you will be prompted to register for two-factor authentication. You will need to select one of the following options:
Two-factor authentication - Email
- Follow the instructions below if “Set up your email” is selected:
- Accept the Terms and Conditions by clicking on
I accept.
- Register your email.
- Verify your email
- Save the Recovery Codes as these may be used to recover your account if you loose or damage your device.
