Onscreen the video begins by exhibiting the “Welcome to ACOA Direct” webpage. The narrator is pointing her cursor to the “I have forgotten my account (user name or password)” hyperlink which is located in the middle of the webpage.
Narrator: The focus of this video is to instruct you, the ACOA Direct client, on what to do if you have forgotten your account information which is your username or password. This is for the purpose of resetting you GCKey Account. If you have a Sign-In Partner account, you must contact your financial institution for instructions.
Onscreen the narrator clicks the “I have forgotten my account (e.g. user name or password)” hyperlink. This action opens the “Re-enrol with ACOA Direct” and the narrator hovers over the “How do I recover the password for my account” hyperlink at the top of the webpage. Then the narrator proceeds to hover over the “Step 1: Set up your new account” information at the bottom of the webpage.
Narrator: So to initiate the process, you would click on “I have forgotten my account (username or password)”. The system brings you to the Re-enrolment screen with ACOA Direct. If you have simply forgotten your password for GCKey, you can click on this link that brings you to the Frequently Asked Questions and within one of those questions, there are links provided that bring you to the GCKey website where there are instructions to assist you in recovering your password for your GCKey account. If you have forgotten your username, you would proceed down here with step number one.
Onscreen the narrator hovers over the “How do I create a login account for ACOA Direct” hyperlink located under the “Step 1: Set up your new account” section at the bottom of the webpage.
Narrator: To begin the re-enrolment process, you need a new login account. You see here a link that says “How do I create a login account for ACOA Direct?”. If you click on this link, the system brings you to the video that is available for client registration.
Onscreen the narrator clicks on the “Set Up” button at the bottom of the “Step 1: Set up your new account” webpage. This action opens up the “Log In to ACOA Direct – Step 2: Choose your new account” webpage.
Narrator: We will proceed by clicking on “Set Up”. Here is where you would proceed to set up your GCKey account. If you choose to change your account at this time you have the option to select “Sign-In Partner Log In”. If you do, you must contact your financial institution for instructions.
Onscreen the narrator scrolls down to the bottom of the “Log In to ACOA Direct – Step 2: Choose your new account” webpage and hovers over the “Sign In Partner Log In” and then the “GCKey Log In” buttons. The narrator clicks on the “GCKey Log In” button located at the bottom right of the “Step 2: Set Up your new account” webpage. This action opens up the “GCKey Log In or Register” webpage. The narrator circles over the page and displays the “User ID” and “Password” textboxes located in the middle of the webpage.
Narrator: We will click on “GCKey Log In”. We come to the GCKey Log In screen and given that you do not remember your user id, you can click on “Register” here or the register hyperlink right here.
Onscreen the narrator hovers over the “Register” hyperlink located at the top left of the “GCKey Log In or Register” webpage. Next, the narrator hovers over the “Register” hyperlink located within the text at the top of the screen then clicks the hyperlink. This action opens up the “GCKey Registration Step 1 of 2 – Terms and Conditions” webpage. The narrator then clicks on the “I Accept” button at the bottom of the “GCKey Registration Step 1 of 2 – Terms and Conditions” webpage. This action opens up the “GCKey Registration Step 2 of 2” webpage.
Narrator: And here you will accept the terms and conditions of using GCKey.
Onscreen the narrator scrolls down midway of the “GCKey Registration Step 2 of 2” webpage. The narrator stops on the “Creating your user id and password” section of the webpage.
Narrator: Down here you will proceed with the same steps you did when you initially set up your GCKey account.
Onscreen the narrator begins to fill the “Create Your User ID”, “Select a Recovery Question”, “My Recovery Answer”, “My Memorable Person”, “My Memorable Person Hint”, “My Memorable Date (YYYY-MM-DD)”, and “My Memorable Date Hint” textboxes which are located midway of the “GCKey Registration Step 2 of 2” webpage.
Narrator: So you are required to enter a new user id and address again three recovery questions. You can use the same recovery questions you had for your previous GCKey account. And the last question, and the memorable date hint “Turn of the Century”; and, we proceed down here to the bottom and we put in our password.
Onscreen the narrator fills out the “Create Your Password” and “Confirm Your Password” textboxes located at the bottom of the webpage. The narrator proceeds to click on the “Continue” button below the “Create Your Password” and “Confirm Your Password” textboxes located at the bottom of the webpage. This action opens the “GCKey Registration Complete” webpage.
Narrator: And I click ok. The registration is complete.
Onscreen the narrator clicks on the “Continue” button located at the bottom of the “GCKey Registration Complete” webpage. This action opens the “Step 3: Request re-enrolment with ACOA Direct” webpage. The narrator then proceeds to enter the “Name” and “E-mail Address” information in the appropriate textboxes located at the bottom of the webpage.
Narrator: I click ok. And the system brings you to step number three where you will enter the name and address associated with your ACOA Direct account. It is important that you enter the correct e-mail address associated with your ACOA Direct account. In terms of the phone number, this is an optional field.
Onscreen the narrator clicks on the “Re-enrol with ACOA Direct” button located at the bottom of the “Step 3: Request re-enrolment with ACOA Direct” webpage. This action will open the “Step 4: Re-enrolment requested” webpage.
Narrator: I am going to click on the “Re-enrol with ACOA Direct” to see if my re-enrolment is successful. And in this case, it did not find the e-mail address. And for this example, it is not .com it is .ca. Again it’s important that you enter the correct e-mail address for the re-enrolment process to be successful. Once I have entered my e-mail address, I click on “Re-enrol with ACOA Direct” and we see here that the re-enrolment has been successful.
Onscreen the narrator clicks hovers over the “Log Out” button located at the bottom of the “Step 4: Re-enrolment requested” webpage.
Narrator: Once you have completed the process, you simply click on “Log Out”. In the very near future, you should be receiving an e-mail invitation to ACOA Direct. You will click on the “Accept This Invitation” link within the e-mail and you will proceed to log in to GCKey using your new user id and password that you just created.
